Target Audience

I feel like...there's nothing real, nothing worth holding on to in the world. We're all so stuck on technology and science and what we can quantify and identify and label, that we've cut ourselves off from our minds, from our imaginations. Dreamers, idealists and fantasizers are an eccentricity lost to the structured, disturbingly cold facade of lines and angles. Those of us that would rather create, mold, and live in our own minds are forced to live empty and meaningless lives, dropped in cubicles with no purpose or motivation other than to push through the day, in order that we might have a few hours at night to devote to bringing our fantasy worlds out again and playing with them; We're seen as children and toddlers, clinging to irrational and impossible dreams, expected to grow out of them and fall in line to survive in the world, or else be destined for a lifetime of financial insecurity and uncertainty. Commercialization and advertising extravaganzas sucking our souls out for $8.50 an hour, leaving us to become good little consumers while the CEOs pilot the earth on a crash-course with the sun, paying the media to tell us that it's just getting warmer because prices are hot, hot, hot.

I'm so sick of 9-5 bullshit. I'm sick of having to put my fantasy world on hold so that I can exist. I'm sick of having propoganda shoved down my throat, sick of advertising slapping a sticker on every possible fucking thing.
